RELLC NEWS
GMSBC, the vision of Reverend George Cook to provide a building that serves the community is coming into fruition. Under the leadership of Pastor Major Stewart, that vision is now taking a real and tangible step forward. In the next several weeks, the George Cook Family Life Center will open its doors to a local school for rental. They will occupy some of our under-utilized classroom and gym spaces during the week, turning rooms that once sat quiet into places where children learn and grow. This is the first of many potential rental opportunities that will help expedite the efforts to pay off the Family Life Center.
This did not happen by accident. It took vision, negotiation, and steady leadership to move this from an idea to reality.
This is the first of what we believe will be many rental opportunities, each one moving us closer to paying off the Family Life Center and closer to the day this building serves our neighbors exactly as visioned and as God has called us to build.
We are grateful to serve and we look forward to sharing more good news as it unfolds.
