It is with profound sadness that I inform the Charlotte community of the passing of Rev. Dr. George Cook, Jr, Pastor Emeritus, of GMSBC. He left earth for heaven this past Saturday, December 28, 2019, after having served as pastor for more than 30 years at GMSBC. He was my mentor and my pastor for 3 years, and I will always acknowledge him as my pastor too. Sleep on Dr. Cook, Sleep on...I will see you in the morning.
