Greater Mount Sinai & United Missionary Baptist Association
CHURCH BUSINESS DIRECTORY

Dr. Major Stewart, Senior Pastor
Rev. Donnie R. Garris, Moderator

PROBLEM: In 2017, it was reported by Forbes Magazine that Black Wealth accounted for 1.5
Trillion Dollars of Economic Wealth. But the question is, are we as African Americans investing
and purchasing products, goods and services in our own Black communities from our Black
business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals?

SOLUTION: Since the 1960s, the Black Church has been at the forefront to be a vital voice and
conduit for change in equipping and empowering families and communities. NOW, in 2019,
Greater Mount Sinai and the United Missionary Baptist Association are launching the very first
(joint) Church Business Directory for churches in this city and the state of North Carolina!

  • Connects Greater Mt. Sinai with (14) Fourteen Baptist Churches within the UMBA; covering Charlotte, Matthews, Huntersville, Mint Hill, Monroe, Kannapolis, Concord and Harrisburg. Over 50,000 Members in 8 cities.

  • Provides Economic Empowerment which will Promote Black Christian Owned Businesses, Entrepreneurs and Professionals and demonstrate the Unity Christ prayed for in John 17:21

  • By Investing and trading among our Churches and Communities, we are strengthening the Christian Community and increasing the capability for ministry where it is needed.

  • YES, WE CAN BE STRONGER TOGETHER, IN ORDER TO BECOME BETTER TOGETHER!!!

  • Available in a beautiful printed Color Church Business Directory.

  • Available online on our GMSBC website and on the new UMBAcharlotte.org website.

  • Available on a (free) mobile device APP for your iPhone, Android Cell phone or Tablet.
